Solid 4 stars - good option for a brief overnight stay

I stayed here, after arriving on a later night flight, before heading into NYC the next morning. I try and earn all my hotel points on holiday inns so this was the obvious choice. They have a shuttle to the hotel, but yes, you need to take a long airtrain ride to get to P4 to get the shuttle. The shuttle did arrive, though it was a bit of a wait. I called the front desk to make sure it was coming. Check in was easy. The room was nicely updated, with a very comfortable bed and all the usual hotel room amenities. It was quite clean. I did eat at the restaurant - yes, it is a bit over priced, but what do you expect from a hotel restaurant. The food was fine - nothing special, but decent enough. And they had a nice selection of wines by the glass and were not stingy with the pours. My only complaint was street noise - I was on the 2nd floor, facing the parking lot, and heard the back up "beep beep" several times during the night. Loud enough to wake me up. This is a well priced option when staying near the airport. Also very easy to get into NYC by taking the shuttle back to P4, taking the airtrain 1 stop to the NJ Transit station, and then $13 to get into NYC Penn station on NJ Transit

Great start to our vacation

My wife and I had an early flight to Jamaica and the weather report predicted an overnight snow storm for that morning. Not wanting to drive in it, we decided to drive up the day before and take advantage of their stay and park. We stayed the one night and was able to leave our car for up to ten nights. At check in we were greeted by Twana who was so courteous and helpful to us. Our room looked as if it was recently updated, large, and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the WIFI worked great. We grabbed a couple burgers in the hotel restaurant which were good. In the morning all we had to do was go down to the lobby and the shuttle took us right to our terminal. So easy, HI really got our vacation started off right. On the way back we took the Airtrain to the parking garage and the shuttle was there waiting. The driver was very polite. He dropped us off right at our car and unloaded our bags for us. So glad we decided to do this. Great service and value in my opinion

There are better hotels.

I ended up into this hotel after a long flight from Europe to rest for one night before moving to the next stop. Stinky carpets in every floor, very expensive food with bad taste. 2 cappucinos, 2 croissants = 30+ Usd... insane. I will never go back

Canceled flight

We had to stay in Newark d/t cancelled flights out of Punta Cana through Charlotte. We had a group of 17. Got in at 8:30 pm. Shuttles were on time. The restaurant was good and the rooms were clean and comfortable
